A new logo won’t change your business.

What does a logo alone do for your brand? Not much really. If you couldn't use website copy, or write anything on an Instagram caption to express what you're about and instead, all you did was show your logo, would your logo drive business? Would people understand what you're all about?

It can't. Not by itself.

So why do we invest on logo design without being clear on all the inner parts of the business?

I believe that we think we need a new logo or a new website, when in fact, many times we need to look deeper first. We get distracted and want the new shiny object. I've been there too.

A beautiful logo looks great on your website but it's just a beautiful accessory to your overall look.

It's a part of a system that informs what you represent.

Yes, it's important.
Yes, you should invest on branding.

BUT…

Until you're fully clear your vision and have a brand that's aligned from the inside out, having a new logo isn't going to bring you clarity or help you understand your ideal client's problems or how to best serve them.

So be mindful of when you invest on branding and what you're getting out of it. If you cannot be clear on the inner parts of your business, save your resources and work on the deeper stuff first.

When everything comes together from the inside out, a brand can be magical and powerful, especially when it's used to reach goals and connect with their people.

Remember: Your brand is a living, working machine, a tool, not just a pretty picture.

If you're looking for brand clarity to kick ass in 2020, start with my Deep Core Workshop. In this one-day strategy workshop we'll build a strong brand core that truly represents your business and mission.
